Before launching Godmode, Talya cut her teeth in big-name institutions: she worked in the mailroom at WME, then moved into A&R at Capitol Records, where she helped release chart-toppers by Katy Perry, Sam Smith, and Beck. Her journey taught her that traditional labels often operate like investors placing bets but she believed in doing things differently.
